Aldi Satya Mahendra Visits Paddock of Pata Yamaha Team at WorldSBK Misano, Practices With MotoGP Riders Bezzecchi and Morbidelli

In the Yamaha VR46 Master Camp program in Italy, 15-year-old potential rider Aldi Satya Mahendra and 4 other students (Passkon Sanluang, Worapot Thongdonmaun, Md Aliff Danial Bin Muhammad Asri and Maike Abe) had a special opportunity to visit the paddock of Pata Yamaha team which was undergoing the WorldSBK world superbike racing competition in Misano, Italy.

They met and communicated directly with the WorldSBK 2021world champion rider Toprak Razgatlioglu and Andrea Locatelli. This session lasts until noon at 13.00.

This moment became a strong motivation for Aldi Satya Mahendra who is a Yamaha Indonesia coached rider to continue to excel and increase his level of competition.

One of the activities was a Circuit Training session at the Pomposa Track from 14.30 to 18.30. Previously they underwent Fisio Gym together with MotoGP rider Marco Bezzecchi. This is the Mooney VR46 team rider who is currently the best rookie. Also joined Moto2 fighter Niccolo Antonelli.

“I did flat track and soft cross activities in this 11th edition of Master Camp. Thank god, when I did the flat track race, I got one gold medal. While here I have had discussions with coaches Marco Belli, Franco Morbidelli, etc. I also met Celestino Vietti and Manuel Gonzalez. The new lesson I learned is that I can do flat tracks with the right riding style. Achievements during this activity I have won three gold medals, namely for e-Sport, Flat Track and Mini Supermoto. I'm also very happy with the soft cross experience because I really like motor cross and in Indonesia I haven't found a circuit like this. Because here the circuit has a contour of the land that goes up and down and remains safe. During the WSBK tour I was very happy because I was able to meet Toprak Razgatlioglu and Andrea Locatelli. We were even able to enter the pits, paddock, take photos together and be explained about their motorbikes,” said Aldi Satya Mahendra.

The next day, they went back to train on flat track. One of the special things this time was the arrival of MotoGP rider Franco Morbidelli and Moto2 fighter Celestino Vietti and Manuel Gonzalez.. Many lessons were learned from them. Especially regarding skill up racing.

So after training with an experienced instructor Marco Belli, they raced with YZF250 bikes.
