Excellent! Wahyu Nugroho 7th Starting Grid in R3 bLU cRU European Cup 2022 Aragon Superpole Qualification

Wahyu Nugroho, the rider fostered by Yamaha Indonesia showed his potential in the R3 bLU cRU European Cup 2022 Superpole qualifying session at Aragon Circuit Spain, Friday (8 April 2022).

The rider from Boyolali, Central Java who became a rookie or newcomer under the bLU cRU Yamaha Racing Indonesia team managed to occupy the 7th starting grid of the 24 starters.

The time he recorded on the Yamaha YZF-R3 was 2 minutes 15,483 seconds with a top speed of 195.3 km/hour. Sector 2 of the Aragon track which has a length of 5,077 Km is Wahyu Nugroho's mainstay which was previously in the AP250 (Asia Road Racing Championship) race.

Of course, this result opens the opportunity for the 19-year-old rider to penetrate the top 5 or reach the podium in the inaugural series of the bLU cRU Europen Cup 2022.

During the Free Practice session, Wahyu Nugroho recorded a faster time of 2 minutes 14.699 seconds. He became the leader in achieving top speed in the FP1 session which was 191.2 km/h.

“Thank God for today, everything went smoothly, for tomorrow I will do my best,” Wahyu Nugroho said.

In general, he has found a better set-up and this will continue to be communicated and evaluated with the technicians who accompany him.
