Finish 6th Anggi Setiawan in AP250 and Galang Hendra in SS600, YRI Team Optimistic Better in Race 2

Two riders of Yamaha Racing Indonesia (YRI) team Anggi Setiawan and Aldi Satya Mahendra have completed the first race (1) for the Asia Production 250cc (AP250) class of 2022 Asia Road Racing Championship at the Buriram Circuit, Thailand, Saturday (26 March 2022).

They had time to fight in the front row because each started the race from the 7th and 6th starting grids. Keep trying to hold on with the Yamaha YZF-R25 bike to get the moment in the early laps and try to slip streaming to get closer to the rivals. But in a very tight group competition, in the end they lost the moment. Of course, there is no surrender before the finish flag is raised. They continue to strive for a better position.

Finally, Anggi Setiawan who came from Palu, Central Sulawesi, was able to finish in 6th position, while Aldi Satya Mahendra, who is an AP250 Rookie, crashed and had to settle for 12th position.

Of course, the target in race 2 of the AP250, Sunday (27 March 2022) must be better. The shortcomings that occurred in the first race have been evaluated to then find the most effective solution. This will be their important capital in the second race.

"I am grateful for this first race that I was able to finish and get the 6th position, but I am still not satisfied and I will continue to fight in Race 2 Full Gaspoll!," said Anggi Setiawan.

"In this first race I didn't expect to crash when I kept trying to fight in the front row, I will make this a bigger spirit for Race 2 later," said Aldi Satya Mahendra.

The Super Sports 600cc (SS600) rider from Yogyakarta, Galang Hendra Pratama, who rode a Yamaha YZF-R6 bike, managed to finish in 6th position from the 9th starting grid position in the first Race (1). But Galang Hendra Pratama keeps trying. He will continue to strive for better results. Meanwhile, Faerozi had a crash with a Thai rider so he could not continue the race, Faerozi's condition was declared good and ready to fight again in Race 2.

"Thank God, in this first race I was able to finish until the last lap, with 6th position, my enthusiasm is getting higher and I will improve setup according to the input from my team for the second race later," said Galang Hendra Pratama.

"I crashed in this first race with other riders when I was fighting to get the front row, thank God my condition is good and I can still participate in race 2 later. I will try my best for Merah Putih Semakin Di Depan," said Faerozi.

We ask for the supports and prayers from the Indonesian people so that the Yamaha Racing Indonesia team can reach the podium in the 2nd race of the AP250 and SS600. so that it can bring the name of Indonesia in the 2022 ARRC Thailand international racing arena.
