Potential rider from Indonesia Galang Hendra Pratama managed to prove his commitment to get better results in the Race 2 of the WorldSSP race at Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit - Indonesia, Sunday (21 November 2021).
Starting the race from the 17th starting grid, the Indonesia’s proud rider who defended the Ten Kate Racing Yamaha team was able to finish 13th and he was entitled to an additional 3 points.
He was proven to fight all-out in the Home Race from the early laps until he was immediately able to enter the 15th position on lap 1 and lap 2. Then he fell in the 16th row from lap 3 to lap 9. This is not the final result. He kept trying to all-out again until he entered the 15th position on the 10th lap and lasted until the 13th lap. Even on the 12th lap, He recorded a best-time of 1 minute 38.416 seconds.
In the end, from lap 15 to lap 19, He successfully finished in 13th place. While the top speed of the Yamaha YZF-R6 bike, it was in 11th place with a top speed of 249.4 km/hour.
Referring to this result, He has collected a total of 27 points and is in 21st position in the final standings of this world supersport racing. There are 50 riders in the WorldSSP standings. An achievement that should be appreciated.
“Conditions were tricky again as it started to rain. I had a good start and was able to stay with the group. A rider in front of me had a technical problem, which put oil on my visor. It was tricky, but I am happy with 13th and add the points. I was able to help a little bit with the team championship for Ten Kate Racing Yamaha. I want to thank the team, especially for Kervin, Ronald and my crew, for this year! I have learned so much from this great team, which I can use in the future. I also want to thank my sponsors who are behind me. I don’t know yet what next year will look like for me, but we will come back stronger!”
We ask for prayer support from the Indonesian people so that Galang Hendra Pratama who is under the guidance of Yamaha Racing Indonesia can get better achievements in his racing career in the future.
