The 22-year-old potential rider from Yogyakarta, Galang Hendra Pratama, ended his struggle in Race 2 of the WorldSSP event at the Portimao-Portugal Circuit, Sunday (3 October 2021) in 21st position. At the beginning of the race which had to devour 17 laps, Galang Hendra Pratama who defended the Ten Kate Racing Yamaha team fought all out to try to move up the position.

It was proven on the first lap he was in 22nd position after starting from the 25th grid. On the 4th, 5th and 7th laps he rose again to 21st. Or he got into the top 20 on the 6th, 12th and 15th laps. However, because the competition was very tight, in the end he had to settle for ending the race in the 21st position.

The result of the race 2 is better than the race 1. Previously, during the race 1, Galang Hendra Pratama, who rode the Yamaha YZF-R6 bike, finished the race in 22nd position.

Referring to this result, he did not get additional points. However, his position did not go down but remained in 18th position with 24 points of WorldSSP standing points.

A thorough evaluation step will be carried out with the team management to obtain the best results in the next series.

“It was another very tough race. I had a good start and was close to the top fifteen guys. I couldn’t find a place to overtake. I had a gap to the riders in front of me and finished outside the top twenty. I thank the sponsors that have supported this WSS600 race. Now the European rounds are done. I’m already looking forward to my home race in Indonesia!”

We ask for support and prayer from the Indonesian people so that Galang Hendra Pratama can perform better in the next rounds. Moreover, it can improve his position in the WorldSSP standings
