Galang Improves Time 1.7 Seconds in FP1-FP2 Worldssp Jerez

The Yamaha Racing Indonesia fostered rider who competed in the World Supersport Racing competition (WorldSSP) Galang Hendra Pratama succeeded in improving his time significantly. This took place in the first free practice session (FP1), Galang Hendra Pratama scored a time of 1 minute 46.305 seconds in 29th position. The second Free Practice (FP2), The Ten Kate Racing Yamaha rider carved a best-time of 1 minute 44.578 seconds in 23rd position. In connection with the results of the Combination of FP1 and FP2, Galang Hendra Pratama who rides the Yamaha YZF-R6 motorbike was in 23rd position.

This result will be a reference for the team to evaluate in finding the best set-up before entering the Superpole Qualifying round and the first race on Saturday (25 September 2021).

WorldSSP Jerez is the timing for Galang Hendra Pratama to get maximum points. Previously at World Catalunya (17-19 September 2021), Galang finished in 13th and 22nd in two races presented.

Currently, Galang Hendra Pratama is in 17th position of WorldSSP standings. The potential is still wide open to add points and improve the position in standing points.

“That was the first day in Jerez. It’s a tricky track with a 600 bike. In FP1 we fixed some things and collected a lot of data. In FP2 I found the flow. The gap to the top-fifteen guys is not too big. The team found a good setup for me. So tomorrow I will focus on my riding and try to improve further step by step”, Said Galang Hendra Pratama.
