27-09-2021

The 10th series of the WorldSSP racing competition which will be held at the Jerez Circuit - Angel Nieto, Spain this weekend (24-26 September 2021). Yamaha Racing Indonesia’s fostered rider Galang Hendra Pratama is optimistic that he can get points. Previously in the Catalunya - Spain round, last Sunday (17-19 September 2021), Galang Hendra Pratama, who rode the Yamaha YZF-R6 and defended the Ten Kate Racing Yamaha team, finished in the 13th in race 1 and the 22nd in race 2.

He is very familiar with the Jerez track, which has a length of 4,423 km with a menu of 13 corners, 8 turns to the right and 5 turns to the left. The next step is to adjust the motor set-up in a Free Practice session (FP).

During the 2020 season, he also competed in WorldSSP Jerez with the bLU cRU WorldSSP team by MS Racing. Then also in 2019 ago in WorldSSP300 where he finished in the 6th and the 4th position in two races presented. This condition is a strong motivation for him to be able to get points back. Currently, he is in the 17th position in the WorldSSP standing points with 24 points. The struggle is not over and the potential is still wide open to get points and improve rankings in the standings.

“Jerez is my favourite track. I have a great memory there, when I won with a wild-card in World Supersport 300. The layout of the track is very nice. I raced with a Yamaha R6 there last year, so I have a feeling it could be a good weekend. I’m really looking forward to it and I’ll be aiming to get some points again. As always I will push to the maximum!” said Galang Hendra Pratama.

We ask for support and prayers from the Indonesian people so that Galang Hendra Pratama can perform optimally in the WorldSSP Circuit Jerez - Angel Nieto, Spain so that he can make Indonesia proud in the world.
