Wahyu Nugroho Successfully Earns Points at WorldSSP300 Portimao

Yamaha Racing Indonesia coached rider Wahyu Nugroho gained a lot of experience in his inaugural participation in the WorldSSP300 world race at the Algarve Portimao Circuit, Portugal.

Starting the race from the 22^nd starting grid, he recorded a best time of 1 minute 56.575 seconds. The Semakin Di Depan fighter who defended the BR Corse team tried to achieve optimal results on the Yamaha YZF-R3 bike.

Race 1

Before red flag because of turn 14 accident, he was already in 18^th position. After restarting, he managed to finish in 14^th position and he got 2 points with 1 minute 56.886 seconds rap time. Total there were 31 starters who took part in this race.

Race 2

Unfortunately, he crashed with another rider during the warm-up session on Sunday, and detected that he suffered an injury to his right shoulder, then canceled  to join Race 2. Although he couldn’t join Race 2, it was good experience to understand WSSP300 championship high level riders.
