Wahyu Nugroho Wins 2nd Podium in R3 bLU cRU European Cup Race at Magny Cours France, Final Standing 6th Position

“Semakin Di Depan fighter” Wahyu Nugroho from Boyolali, Central Java was able to prove his consistency in reaching the podium in the prestigious R3 bLU cRU European Cup 2022 competition at the Magny Cours Circuit, France, Saturday (10 September 2022).

The racer carrying the bLU cRU Yamaha Racing Indonesia team managed to finish 2nd in the 2nd race of the race using a Yamaha YZF-R3 bike with a 321 cc cylinder. This is a global product produced by PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM).

The Struggle of Wahyu Nugroho

Running from the 8th starting grid from the qualifying results Friday (9 September 2022), the 19-year-old Yamaha Indonesia-coached fighter was in 11th position in the first and second laps. However, with a high fighting spirit and unyielding, he was able to overtake the racers in front of him, so that he was already in 3rd place on the 4th lap. He even led the race on the 5th and 8th laps.

In such a tight battle on the last lap (9th), he finally got on the 2nd podium with a very competitive best-time of 1 minute 59.004 seconds with a top speed of 186.2 Km/H.

The final result of the R3 bLU cRU European Cup 2022 series, Wahyu Nugroho is in 6th position in the final standings with a total of 121 points. An achievement that should be appreciated for a rookie or newcomer.
